Emma is a fourth-year naturopathic medical student currently seeing patients under the supervision of Dr. Jess Hobson. She enjoys working with patients across a wide range of health concerns and life stages, and has developing clinical interests in sports medicine, hormone health, and general wellness.
Emma completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology while excelling as an NCAA soccer player at Simon Fraser University. She has worked as a kinesiologist since 2021, bringing over five years of experience in movement assessment, rehabilitation, and performance-based care. This background informs her thoughtful, integrative approach to health, with an emphasis on identifying root causes and supporting sustainable, long-term wellness.
During her externship, Emma incorporates a variety of naturopathic modalities into patient care, including diet and lifestyle counselling, botanical medicine, nutritional supplementation, acupuncture, cupping, intramuscular injections, and comprehensive laboratory testing.
Outside of the clinic, Emma enjoys biking, lifting weights, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends. She values collaborative care and strives to create a supportive, informed, and patient-centred clinical experience.
Jessica Whidden is a 4th-year Naturopathic Medicine Intern with a strong foundation in hands-on clinical care and integrative health, with a special focus on sports medicine, injury rehabilitation, pain management and female health. She has been a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2005 and a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) since 2012, bringing two decades of experience to her patient-centred appointments and individualised care plans.
Jessica is deeply passionate about education, lifelong learning, and identifying root cause(s) of illness rather than simply managing symptoms. She blends evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with manual therapies and acupuncture. She is committed to empowering patients through education and collaborative care to support long-term health and resilience.
